Ultra Durable Nylon: Annin Nyl-Glo® flags are made from exclusive SolarGuard® treated material giving them extended resistance to UV rays. Annin uses a remarkably strong, lightweight nylon weave so the flags wave in the lightest breeze.

Brass Grommets: Nyl-Glo features include weather resistant brass grommets so your flag will last through the toughest weather. Note: on flags larger than 6' x 10' those grommets are upgraded to galvanized thimbles.

Lock-Stitched Fly Ends: Four rows of high strength lock-stitching are on the fly (the end of the flag) reducing the likelihood of fraying and extending the life of the flag. Note: larger flags have 6 rows of stitching.

The flag background is a special shade known as “Air Force blue.” The central shield has a stylized thunderbolt symbol of the kind used in the Roman Empire. The blue shield appears over stylized white clouds known in heraldry as nebuly. The ring of 13 stars refers to the original states of the nation. A bald eagle, the national bird, stands at the top with its wings spread. Behind its head is an area of clouds similar to those appearing in the coat of arms of the United States.
